I did this shoot together with the Brazilian journalist Ana Paula Bretschneider in Koh Phi Phi, a very popular tourist destination in Thailand. Instead of taking the scenic touristy shots, we decided to show the other sides of the island that usually dont make the cut, in the same way that regular tourist shots are taken. For the inhabitants of the island, there are many structural issues like pollution, poverty and more, things usually not put in focus by the casual visitor.
